GAGAH Dog Talk

Welcome to our forum. Feel free to post a message.

In order to keep the forum easy to follow it would help to follow the 'thread' approach for topics.

This means that if, for example, someone has started a discussion about dog diet, and you want to make a comment about diet, that you go into that discussion and use the 'reply' button, rather than start a new topic which is what happens if you use 'post'

If we don't take that approach we will end up with dozens of single topics and no conversations.

Message:   Hi Maggie's mum!

I am a vet nurse so can maybe shed some light also. Vet nurses are allowed to do basic dental work (scale and polish) and can also do non surgical extractions. Non surgical is classified as a tooth that can be removed using your fingers (no instruments). Do you know if Maggies teeth were really bad? If they required extraction surgically then yes, you should get in touch with the RCVS and ask them how to proceed. I hope this doesn't put you off going to the vets!!
Big hugs for Maggie, my grey Meg is still sulking with me for taking her in for an op almost 2 weeks ago!!
