GAGAH Dog Talk

Welcome to our forum. Feel free to post a message.

In order to keep the forum easy to follow it would help to follow the 'thread' approach for topics.

This means that if, for example, someone has started a discussion about dog diet, and you want to make a comment about diet, that you go into that discussion and use the 'reply' button, rather than start a new topic which is what happens if you use 'post'

If we don't take that approach we will end up with dozens of single topics and no conversations.

Message:   Hi Dawn. We used them about5/6 years ago.The dogs supposedly get 2 walks a day on lead(obviously)for about 10/15 mins.

They have a day pen among about 15 other dogs. It is very noisy as all kennels are I suppose. The night kennel is ok with your own bedding. Our dog's was wet when we got her back but not sure if it was urine or rain water.

I gave a list of her dietary requirements ie that she did not like dried kibble much and had tinned food. They said 'ok'they would give her that no prob. but when I got her back she had lost weight and they said 'She doesn't like dried food much does she '

As you are only one night I think they would be fine but long term ,not too sure. We had to go to the U S A and had no other alternative. I have to say they are very knowledgeable and in an emergency would know how to cope.

I have a neighbour who has a 12 yr old Red Setter and he swears by them and uses them 2 to 3 times a year.
Hope this helps but I think I have probably just confused you.
