Cloth diapers are just bulky and if you are looking for the same absorbency from cloth as a good disposable it is going to be real bulky and show.
If you only need a little protection then you may get away with a thin cloth diaper with little bulk but there is still bulk.
Cloth diapers are bulky that is the nature of the beast, but all that said they are the most comfortable absorbent cheapest way to control incontinence and I do prefer them to disposables. Cloth diapers are easiest on your skin if you do your part and keep them clean.
Now in my case I have CIDP a neurological disease and have little feeling to no feeling so I have to pay close attention to skin problems and I use a heave diapers.
Diapers have caused me a lot of skin problems that doctors can’t seam to clear up, but that is another story.
When I do use diapers I use cloth when possible and Molicare’s other times they are heave and I suspect anyone looking for them would have no problem knowing what I am wearing.
But in all the years I have use them I never had anyone say anything about them and even if they did I am old enough I really don’t care they are what I need so I use them.
Gimwet gave you some good pointers but I don’t care what you wear even a disposables if someone is looking for them they will see them unless you have the thinnest diaper you can get and wear it just for fun but wearing a working diaper depending on how bad your incontinence is and if it is even moderate the diaper needed will show.
