Message:   I have stayed away from this post but I think I would like to put in my findings according to a doctor.

I have also used baby diapers with adult diapers and found first they did not stay in place and sooner or later you were sitting on the plastic.
As for skin problems I have been fighting on and off for several years a bad skin brake down. According to my doctor and dermatologist and disposable weather it be for a baby or adult draws the moister out of the skin which can in some people cause skin dermatitis and worse yet it could turn into cancer in a small percentage of people.
Having urine in contact with the skin for any length of time can also cause serious skin problems and also sweat build up in a diaper is also a no, no.

I know some people dribble so they should use a diaper that would get full and need changing in two hours or less. Someone that floods a diaper should use one that will contain one flood then changes.
I flood so I use Molicare I won’t say I am completely leak free but 99% one use one change.

Now if you are looking for the longest wear diaper use cloth but even this should be changed every several hours.
Now if you really want a long wear 24hr product to help you in incontinence use a condom cath and collection bag. I heard all the stories why people don’t work but get someone to fit you correctly and find the right cath for you. This is my preferred way to control incontinence.

Brian post for diapers makes good sense and he would know.
