Are 'briefs' the adult diaper type? I was really hoping to avoid ending up in disposable diapers just yet. :(
I ordered some of the pull-ons that he recommended to me in an email and should have them by the end of the week. I also got some washable pads at night. I'm hopeful that they'll work for my needs, and I can just avoid wearing those scary 'briefs' as you all refer as entirely.
I don't know that the cloth would really be appropriate either. I'm hoping that my doctor and I will be able to have this under control without having to resort to something so permanent. I've been told that I have a fairly good prognosis at this rate, though I might end up having to rely on intermittent catheterization eventually if we can't control it with drugs.
