I have tried both the Tena Ultra-Stretch and Prevail Xtreme fit. which also has the stretchy side panels. I was disappointed with both for different reasons. I'll compare them both.
Tena:
Plus: Good absorbency, close fit, elastic waist retains fit over time. Velcro fastener runs the height of the whole side panel, so it allows adjustment to secure around both the waist and legs.
Cons: The velcro fastener does not secure very well.
Prevail:
Plus: Good absorbency, easy to apply.
Cons: They are oversized for me at least. I have a 38 inch waist, and the medium tapes far into the center of the diaper. In time the ends of the front wings ride up and out of the diaper. The elastic panels lose strength after time. |
