Hi, Rob. You're never too young to have prostatitis, which is usually an infection. I have been dealing with it since I was in my mid-30s and although it's now managed (more or less), it's no fun.
There is also such a thing as non-bacterial prostatitis, which is not an infection, just an irritation. My advice would be to drink enough water (no caffeine, no artificial sweeteners) to keep your urine as clear as you can. If my guess is correct, that should help reduce the irritation that's causing your trouble.
No matter what, go see your urologist.
