It seems that we are headed off the Peak Oil cliff. Without going into the subject in depth, I see oil becoming even more expensive and our global distribution network failing.
That being said, long term availability of diapers, especially imported disposables seems unrealistic.
The need for a US made diaper that is of any use is going to become even more apparent (depending on your point of view I suppose).
Also, I have heard that the poly style plastic pants, although extremely noisy, have the potential to last for years. Anyone have thoughts on stocking up on waterproofs while they are still available cheap and storing them for long term use?
Sorry if this sounds out of left field. I have been thinking more and more about the future and looking to plan for eventualities. |
