Hi, just a warning, a restaurant called Dedo with metal gates, a forcourt with bar-b-q and eating on two floors (upstairs is outside; not far from the Lion Bar in a road called Pirin charged me 120 lev for a bottle of "House wine" that's 60 euros.
I've never been charged that for house wine anywhere on the Alps, in USA or England.
The staff just laughed and threatened to call the police if we didn't pay, I was minded to say "call the Police" but my son , who had spent the winter season in Bansko said the police would just arrest me.
Bansko is not as cheap as it is made out to be, I've bought 2 appartments there and now regret it. 2 years ago it was good value, now it's a rip off.  |
