Slack Boy - Individual Statistics out of date???
Hello all, No excuses....All will be up-to-date very soon. I heard a roomer going around that I had lost interest in it since we have been loosing all of our games... NOT TRUE AT ALL!!! Thanks for your patience, KaptainK. |

I had noticed LOL,and with Moon Platoon with a win disgracefull  How are we supposed to know if we are throwing crap if you dont tell us Your doing a great job,dont listen to the rumours,we all know and appreciate the time you spend keeping things up to date THANKS

Yes, Harry. I'll second that. The guy's done a great job with the stats. All the guys that take care of the web site and the stats deserve a tap on the back and/or a beer once in a while. Well done lads

One thing Keiran failed to mention is WHY stats are posted late. For as good as he is at computers and web related work - putting all our stats up for all to see on-line - he's not that good that he can do it WITHOUT SCORE SHEETS. I know that I'm preaching to the choir here on the forum as you are the ones that do get your score sheets in on time. Okay, the fax for turn-in was out for some time. But realizing where we all live there is not only one or two but three ways to get a score sheet turned in. If the fax is out score sheets can be scanned or photographed and emailed OR if all else fails hand carried to D'Pelican Inn. AND this bit of information is printed on every score sheet. Angry stats are posted late? I think that it's a safe assumption that all of us reading and posting on this forum are. Want to complain about it? Great - BUT - make sure to complain to the offenders - those failing to turn in their score sheets. So who are the offenders? 1) Teams from Domino - 2) Teams from Flaming Moe's 3) Team from Cat's Meow. Take notice to how PC this is as I did not mention teams by name!!!! Here's a stat that Keiran has not posted. We are no closer to getting our LSDL write-up back in the Bangkok Post than when I first commented on this some months ago. The sad truth is that we are further from that goal today in this current season than ever. Will we try and get our spot back In the Bangkok Post next season? You bet. The "Fun League" seems "serious" enough about it to get score sheets in on time so we can make the newspaper's deadline. Wouldn't bet on it but maybe someday the "Premier League" will get "serious" enough about it and get score sheets turned in on time. Jayke has agreed to to our write-up if we get the report back in the Post next season for the LSDL Fun League. It will be my suggestion that each report have a footnote - The LSDL also has a Primer League of "serious" darts players of a higher level but most teams captains are incapable of getting score sheets turned in on time for results to be posted here. |
