Fishin' word from Wilson NY

No activity at the piers. Dirty water and a little cool..... There were two cars at the bridge on Rt 18 in 12 East Branch. ....

Jud Myers and Jiggs Pierce were fishing in 12 West branch this morning with no bullheads but Jud hooked into a a Dogfish (Bowfin) that weighed about 8 lbs. It was a real fighter and it bent his hook. The bait of choice is Leeches here.

Re: Fishin' word from Wilson NY

Here is an update from this morning.
Jud and Jiggs moved to another spot and caught 28 Bullheads on leeches. They got them in 12 Mile Creek, West Branch from about 11am to 2:30pm today. They kept 28 and probably got more than that.

A picture of the bucket that was three quarters full will appear on this website Tuesday morning. [04/15/08].
