New Reunion Forum - New Ideas for the 30th
OK ... the 25th is over and planning for the "biggie" in Las Vegas begins. As you can tell we have wiped out the old strings of this message board so that we can move on to the new planning stage. I hope, participation is better this time around then the last. Please use this forum to discuss ideas for the 30th reunion, memorials, fund-raising and anything else our class has decided to particpate in. Don't be shy! Post away! Submit any and all ideas you have. Take the chance and step forward to volunteer some time to help make the next reunion the best of all times. For starters - we need the staples of a committee. The old committee page will be coming off the website and the NEW committee information will be posted. Hopefully this will put a face and a name together and someone you feel comfortable to work with. We have a lot of time to plan this - HOWEVER - it is probably going to be a bit MORE pricey than our last few, so the sooner we can post some prices and times and dates and places and etc ... the sooner EVERYONE can plan to attend. OK ... I'll go back to my dark damp corner now ... and let someone else talk next. 80 RULES! GO TIGER BAND! WWW.TIGER-BAND.COM |

Hey , Kevin was in my office today and soundly scolded me for not coming to the festivities last weekend (yes I do live right here in Alamogordo). But this is my busiest time of year at work, and hope that you all understand. BTW I work at the fairgrounds so hope to get to see some of you there at the fair! To everyone, take care and hope to see you in 5! Love to all, Becky |

I had a great time at the reunion. I enjoyed meeting old friends and building new friendships.. Every time I think about visiting the old high school locker room, I chuckle....... Anyhow, I think having the 30 year reunion in Vegas would be nice. Possibley at a resort where the ladies or guys have the option to do a "Day at the Spa" , shopping or even the shows which are spectacular. For the golfers Vegas offers great golf courses. And for those who like to gamble or do the slots there is plenty of that there too. We can offer these in packages and try to keep everyone in one hotel/resort.This will also give the committee members a chance to enjoy the reunion. |

I think Tish's idea is great. We should all stay in the same Casino or Resort. Las Vegas is really big; you can stay in the Casino next door and still have to walk a mile or so to get there. I go to Las Vegas about once a year. I've stayed at the MGM, New York New York (yes, I rode the rollercoaster), Flamingo and a couple of the smaller casinos on the strip. I also stayed downtown once at the Four Queens. Downtown is a lot smaller, but has a great atmosphere. I loved NY NY, on the strip that was really cool. I'd love to help do something. I'm great at spreadsheets or detail stuff. Did I just admit that? |

Where's my head? There must be a swimming pool. Ok, that's all the ideas I have for now. |
