Message:   Hello, I am thinking about buying an inflatable boat to explore the area off the coast of charleston sc. I was wondering if an inflatable boat is safe to use in the ocean. Also I was looking for a boat that I could land on uninhabited islands nearby. Would an inflatable boat work for this or would the boat be punctured easily by shells. I am thinking about buying an inflatable boat for its portability and affordability. I have never been on one before and was wondering if it would be appropriate for my situation. Any advice is appreciated.
