Men’s A Slow Pitch “ASA 2K” Series Schedule Announced
Oklahoma City, OK-- The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) is pleased to announce that the following events have been awarded status as “ASA 2K” tournament sites. The “ASA 2K” designation means that each event will award a $2,000 travel certificate to the first place team to travel to the ASA Men’s Class A National Championship.

8 September 5-7 Panama City Beach, FL WSL A Championships
If a team repeats as winners in one of the “ASA 2K” events, the certificate will be distributed to the top finishing team that has yet to receive an award. These cash certificates are only redeemable upon arrival in Oklahoma City and subsequent participation in the ASA Men’s Class A National Championship Finals in Oklahoma City, September 25-28.
Each tournament site is free to incorporate local rules they see fit provided that they restrict each participating team to two players that appear on the ASA Slow Pitch Restricted Players List. The list can be found by clicking here, http://www.asasoftball.com/adult/slowpitchrestrictedplayers.asp
Teams will also be awarded points based on their finish in each “ASA 2K” event. The team with the most points at end of “ASA 2K” Series win a sponsor prize pack if they attend the ASA Men’s A National Championship.
Points in the qualifiers will be awarded as follows: first place-60 points; second place-40 points; third place-30 points; fourth place-20 points, fifth place-15 points and all other teams receive 10 points.
