Just for fun - and a battle of wit:

A little competition, just for fun: Darrell's journey to the UK has started, Stateside. I estimate, all being well, we'll walk through my front door around 11pm this evening.

As soon as the bags are set down I will ask Darrell 'What can I get you?' If you'd like to hazard a guess at Darrell's answer then drop me a line. If you can predict correctly you'll receive a £5 AyoubArt Gift Voucher.

Bear in mind the time difference (it'll be 6pm in his home town), and bear in mind he'll have been on the road/in transit for approx 12 hours.....and, most importantly, bear in mind he never misses a chance to surprise you. From our brief exchange before he left home, I can tell you he's firing on all cylinders today!

You can post your answers here or e-mail to info@ayoubart.co.uk Good luck guys.

PS: Darrell know's nothing about this little game. I'll let him in on it when we share a nightcap and hopefully amuse him with your answers - so here's a chance to get sharp with the wit

Re: Just for fun - and a battle of wit:

Hmmm..........not sure about this, knowing Darrell it could be anything.
A loooonnnng cold beer with a whiskey chaser, a glass or three of his favourite Valpollicella wine, to slippers and a pillow.
Maybe a sing along to one of Sue's most cherished cd's, ...... The Rustlers.
One thing for sure, I know what he will NOT be requesting..........
a rendering of a PINK FLLOYD disc. !!!
If he does he will be more jet lagged than I thought.

Welcome Darrell.

Tom.

Re: Just for fun - and a battle of wit:

neil - i think you've got more chance with number 1 than number 2

tom - you are cheeky! ;) darrell enjoyed some floyd with us earlier last year at the bottom of the garden round the fire! (I think!) - rustlers indeed! darrell gave me their most recent release and i just haven't had time to play it at all......

personally my guess at his answer would be 'i'll have a cold cold woman with a warm warm heart' - and he'll probably answer in song, just a hunch

Second thoughts he could be hungry as it will be 6pm - his time? Cuddles with Ziggy would warm his heart and hands. Katie

Des says a bacon butty - to share with Ziggy & Ripley.

Re: Just for fun - and a battle of wit:

It will be either a unsweetened tea or a diet soda. He does not drink achohol.

ONe more thing is he likes a type of soda. I forget the kind.

See I spent a week with him at his home.

He had a big drink most times around him.

He likes chinese and barbeque. Italian food as well.

Myself I would after traveling with surgar issues I would eat food.

Re: Just for fun - and a battle of wit:

see.....now that's made me fancy a bacon butty - maybe we'll start our day with one tomorrow

suprisingly neil hit the nail on the head - it was a nice cup of tea. followed by lamb casserole. casserole must have been good as daughter had 3 bowls - alan & darrell had 2 bowls.

well done neil!
