I wonder if anyone could help me,whilst researching my family tree I came across a chap called Henry Sandon,he was born c1550 in Eaton Bray he married a young lady named Margaret Maxwell 1570,Eaton Bray,Henry died 1609 Eaton Bray and Margaret died 1623 Eaton Bray,they had one son that I know of named John born c1574,Eaton Bray.
I just wondered if anyone could shed any further light on John(1550)and Margaret as it appears that I am their 11th great grandson.

Hi Peter, I have records that confirm that Henry married Margaret on the 13th November 1570. Henry as you say died in Eaton Bray and was buried on 19th November 1609. Margaret Was also buried in Eaton Bray on 12th July 1623. By the way their names on the burial records are shown as Sandan and not Sandon. (Different spellings were common in those days)I can't find any record of a John Sandon being born in 1574 but I do have a record of Thomas Sandon being baptised on 20th Feb 1574. I do however have a record of a John Sandon who married an Elizabeth Winnot on 27th May 1630. Then another record of John being buried on 28th October 1675 in Eaton Bray, could this be their son? I then have a record of a Elizabeth Sandon, wife of John Sandon. She was buried at Eaton Bray on 11th September 1680. There are quite a few more entries in the records for the Sandon family. Many thanks for your reply,John was born circa 1574,so your guess is as good as mine.Henry Sandon married Margaret Maxwell 8/11/1570@Eaton Bray according to the LDS site.
The John who married Elizabeth Winnot is I think the John born circa 1574,Elizabeth being the daughter of Thomas and Frances nee Asshwell,he of Eaton Bray she of Totternhoe.
Alas Martin I live in Warrington,Cheshire but if you ever get the time to gather the info together please do send it on.Just for the record the interest in the Sandon's is their connection with the Parsell/Parcell/Purcell family of Eaton Bray then latter to the marriage of Robert Shepherd and Elizabeth Parsell both of Hertfordshire,many thanks again and I await your reply.
