Does the city still stage a fireworks display at the high school?
When we moved to MH after living in Boise for six months just before moving, we drove to MH for the fourth. When Dad transferred to MHAFB, AF friends told us Boise was the preferred option but Dad tired of the 120 mile round trip every day so we bought a house on N. 10th E. I'm forever grateful we moved. Life in MH then for a 4th grader was a Tom Sawyer life.
I recall that night turned really cold and we shivered under blankets sitting on the football field watching the show.
