Last Sunday evening, I came back to Chippy from Stratford on the 5.50PM, which was a 70 seater double decker that at no time had more than a dozen passengers aboard, yet during the week they often use a small Optare single decker seating 30 or so, which, leaving Stratford at about 5.25 PM, is usually packed to standing between there & Shipston (not that I travel often at that time) This makes me wonder why they don't allocate a double decker, or at least a larger single deck bus to the Weekday commuter run, and use an Optare on the Sunday Journeys. This would make more sense!
