Wonder if they’ve found asbestos or something. Its beginning to look a mess on the outside when passing in the car.

There was an asbestos survey van outside earlier today.

Sounds like they might be preparing to demolish the building. These days you have to remove the asbestos before sending in the wrecking balls.

Whether or not this means that Green Square is in a position to start work is another question.

Husband spoke to official who was looking around the garages behind us, he told hubby we will be informed when demolition will be taking place, but they were demolishing Churchill House first, and because it being fenced off now, it wont be long! so another site will be flattened like the Vernon House site!!

Just another local- because there was so much stuff left in Churchill house they had to clear everything out of there, including piano in the communal lounge! They knocked most of the garages down, and then moved to Churchill house and demolished, Next week we have been told the team will be back at the garages site with the Stone Crusher!! to turn everything into rubble!

The stone breaker machine going on Full throttle!! even with doors windows shut the noise is more than annoying!
At least the rain has settled the dust! - at the moment

The piling work has started (foundations). More noise and disruption.. Although we did get a letter warning us of this I didnt realise how noisy it would actually be :(
