With the police acting like Oliver Cromwell's Army of Puritans and the press acting like vultures it is a wonder no one as actually asked for a public hanging, On the news it said 'he will not be prosecuted for having indecent images' making statements like that it looks like they decided he is guilty without a trial, more like the Witchfinder General, certainly what he did was disgusting and he rightly should go to prison but where does it all end? After the recent revelations about Cyril Smith and Lord ....... who is a good donor perhaps he should have joined the Liberals they seem to manage to drop any enquiries over their misdeeds. In the mean time Rolf will have a lot of free time to take up a hobby - Art perhaps?

not at all, but after a career in which I dealt with death & injury on a daily basis, sometimes even the blackest of humour provided a release. The most important thing is that all perpetrators are caught. In that respect, I think Lord Britten should be questioned re; hiding/witholding evidence to see if that would jog his memory

With the police and DPP hell bent on prosecuting so called celebrates, charging and naming people on the hope of getting anybody to come forward to support their case costing some innocent people their livelihoods and even homes and yet when it comes to politicians the police are strangely silent instead leaving it to 'parliament' to sort it out.

The police using the press and media to name and shame on the hope more people to come forward and yet people like Hugh Grant trying to silence the press with the Leveson enquirey after his encounter with a prostitute in America. Also Rolf Harris defence team cited the Leveson enquire to try to suppress the media for several months to keep us all in the dark.

SO, is the press to be used by the police to help convict yet be suppressed by someone who has been convicted or to be convicted? If the latter then will Rolf Harris will be entitled under recent EU laws to have any record of his conviction hidden from view.

Strange days indeed?

Following on from the EU ruling that has forced Google and EU registered search engines to comply to remove articles people deem inaccurate, wrong or just injust may seem to some as right in bringing the media to account and prevent us knowing things they prefer us not to know, however I am prepared to say it will be members and commissioner's of the EU who will use their ruling themselves to prevent us knowing what they are up to or what kind of people we have representing us.
