If you walk up the lane at the top of Wards Rd towards Tank Farm, there is on the right hand side of the track a small wooded area behind the houses in Foxfield Court. Yesterday, (Thursday) the scrub between the tees on the site was raised to the ground on the instruction of the owners of the land Willtown Homes.This small area of woodland was home to an amazing range of wildlife. The fact that the area was subject to a tree preservation order was of no consequence.
Why was this done ? Answer: GREED!!!
