It has been a year since my prostatectomy combined with a diverticulotomy. So far, I'm still having incontinence issues that are inconsistent/unpredictable. I'm wondering if that will be the case permanently. I have tried to wear traditional briefs while at home, but haven't had much success. As a result, I wear a diaper most of the time. Since I had control issues before my surgery, I'm pretty used to wearing one. I don't know if I will be ever brave enough to venture to far without wearing a diaper.

On another topic, can incontinence return months, years down the road after being dry for a length of time?
