I am supposed to have my gall bladder removed before September. While not particularly dreading the surgery, I am totally freaking out about what to expect afterwards.
Specifically, how will I pull up my underwear (adult pullups) if I am incapacitated? I am 76, have much arthritis in my spine and most joints. It is difficult to move on a good day. How will I be able to handle having several holes punched in my abdomen and still be able to maneuver my underwear up.
I elected not to not have surgery for a shoulder spur for this very reason.
