My urologist has suggested that a Boston Scientific artificial sphincter could eliminate the need for diapers. I am up to three and four changes a day.
I am 81 and had prostate cancer 10 years ago, treated by radiation. The incontinence is getting worse and my doctor said the AS might be the solution. The surgery looks gruesome and I wonder if it is worth going through.
Has anyone had experience with this? I’d like to know
