Just a few lines to recommend this procedure to anyone suffering from severe incontinence. I had prostate removal 3 years ago and at one point was using 6+ pads or diapers a day. About a year ago I had a Sling procedure which was completely ineffective. I had the Sphincter surgery September 4th of this year and essentially have used two pads a day with minimal leakage. The lifetime of the artificial sphincter is expected to be 5-7 years. The surgery itself was same day so I was able to go home the evening post-op. It's not for everyone but thus far I've been very happy. If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to respond. Take care my fellow sufferers.
