So due to 3 back surgeries, nerve damage, and scar tissue I now have urinary retension issues. I am going in today for botox in my sphincter wich will basically make me incontinent. I have had urge incontinence for roughly 20 years now due to my back injury from a car accident. However I have never been fully incontinent. I lead a very active lifestyle and spend most of my time outdoors when not working. So cathetheters don't work well for me so I am choosing diapers and incontinence. I would like to know what other people would choose if they had to make the choice between urinary incontinence and wearing diapers or retention and having to intermittently cath themselves? Any opinions or thoughts will be apretiated.
