The brief notes on the Storrs come from the Matie A. Whitmore write-up. "I remember my father (Van J.) telling me he was four years old and Uncle George was two, when their mother, Matie Storr passed away with Scarlet Fever and six months later their father passed away. He had T.B."

"The Storr family is a lost generation. I know nothing about the family. Most of them lived in New York State. I remember my Dad (Van J.) had an uncle Jim Storr, and a cousin Ralph that lived in Coldwater."
