I'm trying to confirm parentage of Gerardus Johannes Van Aken (b 1874 Terheijden) m. 1900 to Johanna Cornelia Maria Damen (b 1874 Klundert). They moved to British Columbia in 1914, then to U.S. Parents of Gerardus VA were supposedly Marinus Van Aken and Hendrika Van Beck. Gerardus had brothers Herman (who moved to Montana) and Cornelius (who moved to New York) and unknown sisters who became nuns and stayed in the Netherlands. Parents of Johanna Damen were supposedly Antonie Damen and Antonia Anna Maria Hermus. If anyone has information to share on these families, I'd be overjoyed to receive it. Thank you!
