Welcome to the Civil War in the Trans-Mississippi! This is a place where all who share an interest in the Civil War fought west of the Mississippi River can gather to ask questions, share information, and announce news.
I am trying to locate the book HARD DYING MEN: THE STORY OF GENERAL WILLIAM HARVEY LAMB WALLACE, GENERAL THOMAS EDWARD GREENFIELD RANSON AND THEIR 11TH ILLINOIS VOLUNTEER INFANTRY IN THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR-1861-1865 by Jim Huffstodt. It was published in the early 1990s and is out of print now.
