I have looked without much result for information on the personal life of Iowa General Francis Herron. Other than pre-war he moved to Dubuque and went into business with his brother, lived in New Orleans ater the war and died in poverty in New York, the details in between are non-existent. I would certainly like to communicate with anyone who has additional information.
