M. B. Hurst wrote the only regimental history published while the war was still ongoing. It has basically been out of print since that time. The Paint Rock River Press has brought it back with some photos and remarks added. It is titled "The Fourteenth Regiment Alabama Volunteers". The exact title is important to find it at these sites.
