I have published new a novel, SOWING IN THE MORNING, by Vantage Press, released in July 2002. It depicts seldom told battles, Little Rock, Okolona, Jenkins Ferry, and Prairie De Anne, as well as The Battle of Vicksburg. It also tells about events on the Iowa Homefront between 1863 and 1865. Names, events, battles, are all historically accurate.
