I have a sea eagle 9 but i have not put on a transducer yet...but you have to buy a bracket to attach the transducer to your trolling motor. The sea eagle is a great fishing boat for lakes and i'll bet the fish finder would definitely be helpfull.

I owned a seagle 10 footer and depending on the depth finder, you can usually get a clamp mount that will go around the bottom of your electric trolling motor or some have a suction cup that attaches to the back of your boat. If you purchase a fishing buddy fish finder, they sell a drop in mount that attachs to the side of your sea eagle. I have both fish finders and I like the fishing buddy becasuse the one I have has a side scan feature that will tell you if fish are off the side of the boat, just not underneath, the secret is to catch the fish wherever you see them on the finder.
