I recently rigged a zodiac mk v hd with a 2002 90 hp merc 4 stroke. I need some advice from someone familiar with this model regarding motor height and prop pitch. I have the motor set as low as possible to reduce cavitation while cornering, which these boats have a problem with, but with the motor this low ( about 3 inches below manufacturers specs. ) I get lots of water over the transom above approx. 25 mph. am currently running 3 blade stainless 16 pitch prop. and am ASSUMMING i need to go to four blade @ 19 pitch. Any advice ?
