The foot pump was alright, But Im am so glad I bought
the bst turbo pump. It has a built in battery, so you can inflate the boat anywhere. Aslo, it inflates very fast. Best of all, it has a built in pressure reader. No guessing if you inflated to the correct pressure. You set the pump to your desired PSI and it shuts off after the chamber reaches the pressure. My pumps max psi output is 4.4 psi. But they have a model that reaches 11 psi(for guys with inflatable floors that need very high pressure). I wasnt sure if I wanted to spend 160.00 on a pump, but Im so glad I did. ED
