I assume that you have already looked at the Unihelm (made in Washington State) and the St. Croix (on the Defender.com website). I recently saw a (made in China) St. Croix "knock-off" at Kits Inflatable Boats in Vancouver BC that was better finished than the original and a LOT cheaper. These are all seats with a stainless arm reaching forward on which steering wheel and engine controls are mounted. They have the advantage of giving you "unlimited" legroom (unlike a fixed console) and, in the case of the St.Croix, the steering wheels and controls swing down out of the way when not in use.
