I wish to get a new PVC inflatable, however, I find many have lifting handles in line with the transom where the Weaver Davit pad should go.

I would like to remove the lifting handle and put the Weaver pad in its' place. I have been told that one should not glue pads over an area where something has been removed as the outer layer of the PVC has been damaged. Poor adhesion of the new pad will result.

It is ok to do this with hypalon boats though.

I never try it by myself. When ever I fell requirement I ever like to contact the UMT Marine for all problem that I have to face my boat. Like dinghy davits for yachts and all the other installation. I find this comp is very fast processing. Try it.
