The Confederacy in New England

"Surrender means that the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers; learn from Northern school books THEIR version of the war; and taught to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects of derision."
Gen. Patrick Cleburne, CSA

I had a great time at the Goshen weekend earlier this month. It was nice seeing everyone from the HQ staff of the 6th batt, the 5th Va, 1st Texas, 12th Georgia, and everyone from the other units I failed to mention. Also, it was great seeing everyone from the town of Unity. I had a wonderful time with old friends. I also made many new friends as well.
Please visit the 15th Alabama's web site, www.mainerebels.org and click the link, National Front to see some photos we took of the event.
Thanks everyone for being patient with me in Goshen! It was my first event to wear the first sergeant stripes. I had an awesome time. Look forward to seeing you all in Virginia next month. Take care and God Bless
