In the fifties (I was born in 1941) it was common for the groupto work onan engine or entire vehicle over a weekend. I am quite dedicated to the Ford line and currently drive a \'14 Fusion.

I have for several years clipped the stories from the Calgary Herald and filed them. Since we are in our mid to late 70\'s, we are downsizing and have several three ring binders of the clippings. Would anyone be interested in the collection??? Please advise if the club allows this. I hate to destroy the work I have done.....

1976 F150 XLT - not really classic but....

1st car was a 1954 Belaire two door hardtop. Wish I still had it.

My 1976 F150 is for sale. I am the original owner, have original bill of sale, 460, upholstery is excellent, 76K original miles, air, cruise, Ford top, some rust of course but not bad and unfortunately the dash cover cracked last winter. Drove it yesterday. Will drive it to the show today. Email me for pictures if interested.

1956 Customline (LHD US Built)

Have loved Ford Customlines all of my life. They were imported into Australia from Canada during the 1950\'s as CKD and assembled here. I have had several but my favourite was a black 56\' that I owned when I was 19 years old back in 66\'. Sold it to a mate for whatever reason. Have dreamt about owning another one since then. Bought my current one last year and now restoring it to it\'s former glory.

Looking for parts, particularly an original twelve volt dash clock. Regards to all at Nifty Fifty\'s Ford Club.

I have 39-48 Dodges in my blood,sorry.39 De Soto Coupe,39 TC truck,48 B-1-D truck

I bought 48 out of personal dump in Yakima, Wash and while working on it I saw ad for 1939 TC, 1/2 pickup in Bargain Finder. Owner had got into argument with banking machine when it ate his card. He said he only kicked it once but a camera disagreed and so did the Judge. He had the TC and figured it was worth a fortune , thus paying his fines and putting money into his pocket. I was able to convince him otherwise. This pickup had been in an accident in 1963 and was in boxes. The vehicle had been in an end over end and side over side. This purchase was in Feb 1995.In 2007 a good friend decided he needed to downsize and offered me an original 1939 De Soto Coupe with 38,000 original miles on it. It was in fair condition but did need a few hard to get things. Thank God for E-Bay. I had the car in Midnight at the Oasis ,2012 in Yuma, Az.

I have both a 54 Ford american built with over drive as well as a 52 Metor sedan delivery.

I just purchased this car and would like to know more about it regards to decoding the serial number and how to tell what engine is in it? Does it have the 255cu in or 239? The serial is 0278H52-18660, trim KA, paint 35 and model 0278. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you!

(my former boss at the Calgary Herald) I have been retired now for a few years now and have a sideline where I create and design 1 of a kind wooden photo dash plaques for classic rides as well as just about anything else one could possibly want on a fridge magnet.
