"The Washboard" is original and refreshing with a destiny for Broadway and the Screen. The story and the music compliment the characters and builds to a climatic resolution. Keep up the good work Soul Access...Marcia!!!!! |

The washboard is an exciting and wonderful play to cleanse and replenish the soul. Combining the love and bond of nine comedic sisters facing the world and relying in no one but God and each other. |

Thanks to the Creators of "THE WASHBOARD" It was a great way to showcase my talent and an honor to work with other great talented women. I had one FAB time working with Greta Hudson, and Marcia Marbury the writers/directors & producers. To my co-cast players, Karan Nicks, Sylvia Thomas, Erika Hodge, Dekesha Briscoe, Nicole Robinson, and Mia Whitehead. Thanks for doing your thing! You girls rocked and helped made it one impressionable show...keep using your talent--you all have been blessed with a gift. I look forward to working with you again in future shows to come. WOW!!! An amazing production of unbelievable talent. These ladies are truly blessed. The story was so touching and life-like. Anyone who has dealt with family issues can relate to this story. Greta and Marcia have brought real life situations to the stage. The talented cast made you laugh and cry and cheer along with them as the story unfolded. Great job to all involved!! |

Congrat's to all the cast members, for doing wonderful job. "The Washboard" allowed me to feel the 1950's era. I was truly enlightened. To the aspiring playwrites Marcia and Greta, the play was spectacular and I'm looking forward to seeing your next production. Marcia, this is your time to shine, grab ahold to this and take it to the sky. God Bless !! |

The "Washboard" was a very good insight on the 1950's for those that didn't know how the time were back then. It was also heart felt. I cried ...The play was funny, sad, and inspiring. You guys did a wonderful job on writing the songs and the play itself. Sylvia and Michelle did a wonderful job also they made this play look unbelievable professional. You would not have known that this was a first debut. All of the right people were in this play they all were talented young black woman. I believe in the both of you girls and I pray for much success in the future. Keep God first in everything and the rest shall be added unto you. I love you guys and keep up the oustanding work. |
